Short Course on Biomass Byproduct Valorisation
On 28th and 29th March 2007, Wageningen UR is organizing its training course on Biomass Valorisation for the third time. A program and information leaflet (in Dutch) can be downloaded from this link. Registration can be made through the Wageningen Business School website (www.wur.nl/wbs) or by email.

New website launched: FibreCrops.nl
In August 2006, a new website was launched, www.FibreCrops.nl that contains all Wageningen UR-related information industrial fibres crops and their applications.. Fibres are the most important constructive elements in plants and a very important inexhaustible resource for use in a wide variety of industrial products. Traditional fibre crops such as flax, hemp, jute, cotton, coir (coconut), sisal, kenaf, and kapok find application in consumer products from specialty paper and tissues to composite materials, building materials, ropes, yarns and textiles. Research and development on fibre crops is carried out in a multi-disciplinary research team in cooperation with industries for innovation in processing and creation of new products.

New website launched: Wageningen UR-Biobased Products
In Juli 2006, a new website was launched, www.biobasedproducts.nl that contains all information on the Business Unit Biobased Products of Wageningen UR. The mission of the Business Unit Biobased products is to facilitate the transition to a "Biobased Economy" by technologically innovative R&D and services.For the english version of this website please refer to our WUR-Biobased Products.
